Job summary

Guidehouse seeks a skilled data analytics professional in Ohio to design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for government and public health initiatives.

You will translate stakeholder requirements into actionable analytics, build robust data models, optimize DAX and ETL workflows, and present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in BI or analytics are required, with strong Power BI expertise.

Qualifications

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS PUBLIC TRUST.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in BI/analytics or related field.
• Experience designing enterprise Power BI solutions.
• Experience with Power BI Desktop and Service, DAX, Power Query.
• Strong data modeling and dimensional design skills.
• Experience leading stakeholder engagement sessions and translating objectives into analytics.
• Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks.
• Mentoring junior analysts and supporting analytical delivery teams.
• Experience performing advanced statistical analyses and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Translate business requirements into analytics and reporting products.
• Develop and optimize Power BI data models, DAX measures, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Create data transformation workflows using Power Query (M).
• Perform statistical analyses to support program evaluation and decision making.
• Conduct geospatial analysis and mapping in Power BI and GIS tools.
• Ensure data quality and reporting reliability across systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics, KPIs, and standards.
• Support public health, healthcare, and government analytics initiatives.
• Leverage AI capabilities to enhance analytics workflows and insights.
• Develop technical docs, data dictionaries, and user guides.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
