LVI Associates in Raleigh, NC seeks a Senior Application Engineer to lead automation and control system projects from design through commissioning.

You will design architectures, develop PLC/SCADA, integrate HMI, and collaborate with customers and field teams to deliver high‑impact power automation solutions.

Travel up to 50% may be required as projects demand, and you will own technical aspects across the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Design and develop control system architectures for automation projects.
• Develop PLC applications and integration of SCADA/HMI.
• Create engineering deliverables such as schematics, I/O lists, and wiring docs.

Responsabilités

• Lead automation and control system projects from concept through startup and commissioning.
• Design and develop PLC applications using Siemens, Rockwell, and other platforms.
• Configure and integrate HMI/SCADA for monitoring, control, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with customers to define requirements and provide updates.
• Support FAT, system validation, and field commissioning.
