Job summary

Sonos is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer focused on Power and Analog Design to drive high-performance power electronics for audio products. You will own design from concept to release, collaborating with embedded, acoustics, mechanical, software, and integration teams to deliver superior listening experiences.

The role is on-site in Boston or Goleta with expectations for regular in-office collaboration and cross-functional leadership. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent with significant industry experience in electrical engineering.
• Hands-on ownership of analog and power electronics design for high-volume products.
• Experience with flyback, PFC, LLC topologies and magnetics.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance standards for consumer electronics.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with system-level view.
• Proficiency in schematic capture and layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on power and analog designs within the Electrical System team.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and partners across time zones.
• Develop and validate power/analog designs from concept through release.
• Design analog circuits for AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion and audio signal paths.
• Document designs, validation plans, and test results.
