Job summary

Sonos, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for Power and Analog Design in the Product Development Team.

The role focuses on developing power electronics and analog circuits to support next‑generation audio products. The position anchors ownership of the analog and power design from concept through release, with collaboration across embedded electronics, acoustics, mechanical engineering, system software, and radio engineering.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or BS with extensive industry experience
• Ownership of analog and power electronics design in high-volume products
• Knowledge of flyback and PFC+ LLC power conversion topologies
• Experience with safety, EMC and regulatory compliance for consumer electronics
• Strong analytical, debugging and system-level skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Proven leadership including scheduling and mentoring teammates
• Ability to operate across time zones and diverse cultures

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on power and analog designs within the Electrical System team
• Advance simulation, testing, and validation methodologies for power/analog designs
• Develop AC/DC and DC/DC analog circuits and signal conditioning for audio products
• Design custom magnetics for power amplifiers and power supplies
• Create and execute engineering validation plans and document results
• Ensure EMC, energy efficiency, and safety regulatory compliance
• Collaborate across disciplines and mentor junior engineers in power/analog design
