Job summary

Zoetis seeks a Veterinary support specialist for poultry products serving the US poultry industry. The role focuses on communicating the technical and economic rationale of vaccination and health programs to customers and the field team.

Ideal candidates have a DVM with advanced poultry experience and a track record in team leadership, program design, and cross-functional collaboration. Delmarva-based travel is expected.

Qualifications

• DVM and MAM or equivalent qualification.
• Work experience of ten or more years in the poultry industry and familiarity with US and Canada broiler companies.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Demonstrated ability to function in multiple group settings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and provide solutions to commercial poultry producers on flock health and management.
• Advise customers in designing flock health and vaccination programs.
• Plan and execute customer trials within budgeted expenses.
• Develop long-term technical strategies for growth of products and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement account strategies.
• Provide market feedback to improve the technical service function.
