Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a senior Business Systems Analyst IV to design, implement, and optimize POS and Payments solutions across multiple platforms. You will partner with product owners, architects, engineers, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure systems that support Retail Operations, Payments, and Finance.

You will lead end-to-end delivery, mentor junior analysts, and ensure solutions meet SLAs and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in solution design, system integration, and end-to-end delivery across complex platforms.
• Experience supporting large-scale retail environments (grocery or fuel preferred).
• Strong knowledge of credit/debit payments ecosystem, including authorization flows, devices, and settlement concepts.
• Experience with POS systems, payment gateways, or payment devices (Verifone, Ingenico).
• Proven ability to deliver complex technology solutions end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Own design, configuration, integration, and implementation of POS and Payments solutions across multiple platforms.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of medium to large initiatives, including discovery, requirements, design, testing, implementation, and support.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, stable, secure, and aligned to IT objectives.
• Provide hands-on expertise in system configuration, integration patterns, and troubleshooting.
• Serve as SME for POS and Payments systems, including payment processing flows and device interactions.
• Drive solution design decisions with architects and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
