Job summary

TotalEnergies’ Integrated Power USA seeks a Senior Manager, Portfolio Planning to connect internal data with external information to value assets and shape the long-term portfolio. You will guide investment inputs, coordinate with BD and risk teams, and help set strategy across US markets.

You will lead cross-functional work with Pricing, fundamental market analysis, and M&A to quantify revenue exposures and asset value. Expect interaction with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in economics, finance, engineering, or related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in portfolio planning / economic valuation in the energy sector.
• Deep knowledge of ERCOT and/or PJM markets and electricity pricing.
• Knowledge of power assets operations (CCGT, Renewables).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; project management is a plus.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, forecasting, data modelling, and advanced Excel.
• Experience with Python, R, or MATLAB and BID3, Plexos or PSO is a plus.
• Industry awareness in power market trends and energy technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of long-term energy portfolio strategy for 2030 and 2035.
• Develop capacity planning models and ensure model quality and accuracy.
• Provide valuation of energy margins for investment proposals.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Risk Management, and regulatory teams across US and HQ.
• Communicate insights to senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor FERC, ISO/RTO, and state policy developments affecting assets.
