Job summary

Stanford Real Estate (SRE), a division within Land, Buildings and Real Estate (LBRE), seeks a Senior Associate Director to manage assets in the Stanford Research Park portfolio. SRP includes 10.7 million sq ft of R&D and office space valued in the billions.

This role reports to the Managing Director and represents Stanford to internal and external stakeholders. You will lead strategic asset planning, asset management, and performance initiatives, coordinating with legal, finance, leasing,

Qualifications

• At least nine years of experience in principal real estate investing, asset management, and cash flow analyses.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a related Master’s is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term strategic asset plans.
• Identify opportunities for value and income growth through leasing, development, acquisitions and dispositions.
• Coordinate due diligence, lease negotiations, and documentation; present recommendations to MD.
• Oversee asset management through budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Manage third-party operators and supervise junior staff; ensure timely, risk-mitigated outcomes.
• Audit tenant credit and lease compliance; coordinate with legal on complex issues.
