Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, engineering, data analytics.
Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in portfolio management, FP&A, corporate finance, risk management, or related discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work with financial, operational, and risk data.
Ability to synthesize large amounts of information and identify issues most relevant to management.
Strong written communication skills with ability to develop executive-ready commentary and presentations.
High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and consistency.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a recurring monthly process with multiple stakeholders.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and produce monthly data collection, validation, analysis, and preparation of leadership update.
Compile standardized financial, operational, commercial, and other key performance metrics across portfolio companies.
Work with company and functional teams to understand material changes in performance and drivers behind results.
Identify significant variances, trends, outliers, and developments requiring attention.
Develop concise commentary with key takeaways and context around portfolio performance.
Maintain reporting calendars, data definitions, templates, and quality controls for monthly processes.
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate recurring reporting and analysis.
Incorporate key risk indicators and changes in company risk profiles into the portfolio view.
Gather information on material risks and mitigation activities with risk owners and stakeholders.
Track changes in risks and mitigation actions over time.
Support dashboards, scorecards, and other portfolio-monitoring tools.
Conduct ad hoc analysis in support of portfolio management and leadership priorities.
