Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to oversee client portfolios, adjust investments based on market trends, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. You will trade securities to meet objectives while assessing risk levels and maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires 5+ years of direct wealth-management experience, CFA/CFP preferred, and fluency in market research and investment platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years complex, direct portfolio management experience with individual clients.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CFA or CFP certification preferred.
• Previous experience with various trading platforms preferred.
• Previous experience with investment research platforms preferred.
• Deep understanding of investments with a high level of acumen.
• Strong proficiency and deep demonstrated background in client relationship building.
• Individual client-facing investment manager experience in wealth management prior to application.
• Sedentary work capability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee successful investment portfolios informed by market conditions and economic trends.
• Counsel clients on portfolio adjustments based on industry trends identified through market and risk analysis.
• Buy and sell securities in client accounts to maintain investment strategies or achieve investment objectives.
• Determine acceptable client risk levels based on time frames, risk preferences, return expectations, and market conditions.
• Evaluate portfolio performance and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, investor disclosures, privacy laws, anti-money laundering requirements, and anti-fraud measures.
• Develop and implement new products, processes, standards, or operational plans affecting Portfolio Management results.
• Maintain client relationships, communicate market conditions and investment research, and discuss portfolio performance and objectives.
• Maintain and share updated knowledge of capital markets and the investment management industry.
• Build and manage investment portfolios to optimize returns while balancing risk and meeting clients' investment objectives.
