Job summary

Third Coast Bank in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager to oversee larger middle market and corporate credits. You will support relationship managers, lead underwriting of complex deal structures, review loan documents, and monitor portfolio health.

The role requires 10+ years in middle market/corporate banking, strong credit and regulatory knowledge, excellent communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities and coach junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support Corporate Bankers in managing existing and developing new client relationships
• Assist Corporate Banking team in deal qualification assessment, due diligence, and loan structuring
• Lead the underwriting of complex deal structures through the credit approval process
• Partner with team in reviewing and negotiating loan documents and engaging counsel as needed
• Conduct portfolio reviews and continuous portfolio monitoring for assigned portfolio
• Provide training and coaching of portfolio managers and underwriters
• Coordinate with internal partners & internal discussions (credit discussions, screens, etc.)
• Special projects as needed
