LHH is partnering with a leading investment advisor group in Richmond, VA, to recruit a Portfolio Manager who will work onsite and guide sophisticated client portfolios for ultra-high-net-worth families, foundations, and institutional investors.

The role oversees portfolio construction, investment strategy, and client relationships within a respected independent wealth management firm that manages assets over $37 billion. Salary ranges from $200K to $300K plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field is required.
• MBA and CFA designation are preferred.
• 10+ years of investment management or financial services experience required.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex multi-asset investment portfolios.
• Strong expertise in portfolio construction, asset allocation, risk management, and investment strategy implementation.
• Experience evaluating traditional and alternative investments including private equity, private credit, hedge funds, and real assets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary portfolio manager for client relationships, ensuring portfolios align with client objectives and long-term goals.
• Design, implement, and monitor customized investment portfolios across public and private markets.
• Oversee portfolio performance, asset allocation, and risk exposures, recommending adjustments as market conditions evolve.
• Lead portfolio review meetings and serve as the primary investment contact for sophisticated clients.
