Job summary

Boutique Recruiting is seeking a Junior Portfolio Manager to support the management of roughly $600M in assets for ultra-high-net-worth clients. The role combines portfolio monitoring, trading, and research in a hybrid, 3 days onsite/2 days remote arrangement.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in wealth/portfolio management, Series 65, and strong analytics with familiarity in industry tools. This position offers growth and potential long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

5–10+ years of experience in the investment industry, ideally in wealth management or portfolio management.
Series 65 license required.
Hands-on experience with trading, portfolio rebalancing, and investment research.
Strong understanding of asset allocation, investment models, and strategy evaluation.
Experience with portfolio management platforms such as Black Diamond, LSEG, FactSet, or similar systems.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage investment portfolios for ultra-high-net-worth clients
Execute trades, portfolio rebalancing, and ongoing portfolio monitoring
Maintain Investment Policy Statements and ensure portfolios remain aligned with established investment objectives
Conduct investment research and evaluate investment strategies, managers, and opportunities
Assist in developing and maintaining strategic asset allocation models
Collaborate with investment partners on asset allocation, portfolio strategy, and investment decisions
Provide day-to-day operational support, investment analysis, reporting, and identification of portfolio risks or opportunities
