Job summary

Huntington Bank is seeking an Associate Director of Portfolio Management for Asset Backed Finance in a hybrid/office setting across Columbus, Cincinnati, and Charlotte. You will diligence and support underwriting new transactions and manage existing portfolios, with emphasis on financial analysis and preparing underwriting documents for complex credit requests.

The role requires a finance-focused background, 5+ years in commercial credit or portfolio management, and strong communication skills;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or experience in similar role.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in commercial credit analysis/portfolio management.
• High level of professionalism.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Formal credit training program a plus.
• Experience with Financial Modeling considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review financial statements, projection models, project cash flow models and data to support credit decisions.
• Gather and analyze financial information to determine credit worthiness.
• Conduct ongoing portfolio maintenance including covenant compliance monitoring and risk reviews.
• Assist in analysis and preparation for new deals.
• Conduct due diligence meetings and prepare tear sheets for risk reviews.
• Manage periodic fundings for transactions and related risk reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
