Job summary

Equitable Investment Management Group seeks a Senior Portfolio Analyst to join the Portfolio Analytics team. This role drives investment manager oversight, portfolio analytics, and Board‑level reporting for over $120B in multi‑asset portfolios across variable insurance platforms.

The position offers exposure to manager research, asset allocation, portfolio construction, and governance, with interaction with senior leadership and the Independent Board of Directors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in portfolio analytics, manager research, or investment reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel (incl. VBA/macros) and strong data synthesis skills.
• Experience with Bloomberg, Aladdin, Morningstar or FactSet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of portfolio performance, risk and attribution across multi‑asset portfolios.
• Support selection, evaluation and ongoing oversight of external investment managers.
• Prepare quarterly Board materials with performance, risk and manager updates.
• Assist in due diligence, evaluation frameworks and procurement materials.
• Contribute to portfolio strategy, asset allocation frameworks and governance.
