Customs and Border Protection in Turner, Montana, seeks a Supervisory CBP Officer (Port Director) on a temporary promotion to lead a port of entry team and manage OFO operations.

The role carries a GS-13 level with a salary range of $109,383.00 to $142,199.00 per year, and may be not-to-exceed (NTE) 3 years with possible extensions. The incumbent will oversee prearrival risk assessments, inspections, investigations, and coordination with partner agencies.

Responsabilidades

• Leading and managing a large staff at a port of entry to accomplish the OFO mission.
• Directing the work activities in prearrival risk assessments, primary inspections, secondary inspections, investigations, and intelligence collection and analysis in both inbound and outbound environments.
• Managing a bargaining unit workforce under the national collective bargaining agreement and coordinating with union representatives to prevent and resolve issues.
• Interpreting the laws and regulations of Federal, state, and local agencies relating to admissibility of people, cargo, conveyances, international mail, and arrivals/departures of vessels and aircraft.
