Qualificações

• Training: This position has a training requirement.
• Selectees must attend and successfully complete 101‑days of paid training at the CBP Field Operations Academy (FOA) in Glynco, GA.
• Prior to arriving at the FOA, selectees must complete approximately 7‑10 days of pre‑academy training.
• Upon successful completion of FOA training, selectees must complete an additional 14‑17 weeks of post‑academy training.

Responsabilidades

• Directing and managing port operations, assessing mission requirements, and advocating for resources and equipment to accomplish the Office of Field Operations mission.
• Overseeing operations in multiple locations and maintaining responsibility for the full scope of Office of Field Operations mission functions.
• Interpreting laws and regulations related to admissibility of persons, cargo, and conveyances; international mail compliance; and the arrival and departure of vessels and aircraft.
• Supervising through subordinate supervisors by planning work, establishing priorities, assigning work, and evaluating employee performance.
