Job summary

Legacy Health is seeking a Polysomnographic Technician to operate and monitor sleep studies across patient populations, from infants to geriatrics. You will ensure high-quality recordings, document patient activity, and maintain equipment per standards.

The role requires current R.PSGT or SDS, BLS, and state licenses (Oregon/Washington). Prior polysomnography experience is preferred, with strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and electronic systems.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate with a strong background in science.
  • Recent experience in polysomnography preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and technical equipment.
  • Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Operates and monitors polysomnographic instrumentation under supervision.
  • Performs polysomnograms according to laboratory standards and site expectations.
  • Maintains equipment and ensures patient safety.
  • Documents patient activity during procedure and communicates findings.
