Job summary

The Supervisory Policy and Program Analyst position is located within the Department of Human Services (DHS), Family Service Administration (FSA). The role leads policy analysis, synthesizes information, and presents findings to the FSA Chief of Staff or Deputy Administrator to aid in policy and program development.

The incumbent supervises policy work, coordinates data analyses for program operations and training curricula, and guides committees for improved program implementation and policy

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lowergrade in the line of progression.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line supervisor for social service policy and develop a wide range of policy interpretations and documents to aid in making changes to existing programs and developing new programs.
• Identify operational and policy problems, propose policy-based solutions, and advise the Chief of Staff/Deputy Administrator on impacts and alternatives.
