ACLU Foundation of Florida seeks a Senior Policy Counsel to lead civil rights priorities through legislative, administrative, and community-based advocacy in Florida. The role reports to the Policy & Advocacy Director and collaborates with Legal, Communications, and Philanthropy teams to expand rights for all Floridians.

• Experience in civil liberties policy or public interest advocacy.
• Ability to draft legislation, rules, and public comments.
• Strong research, briefing, and testimony skills.

Responsabilidades

• Identify opportunities to advance civil rights and civil liberties in Florida through non-litigation methods.
• Monitor and analyze legal, legislative, political, and regulatory developments and advise on impact.
• Draft state and local legislation, administrative rules, ballot measures, and public comments.
