Job summary

Intelligence and National Security Alliance is seeking a senior Classification and Programme Protection Security SME to support the Office of the Under Secretary of War at the Pentagon. The role is onsite in Arlington, VA, requiring active TS/SCI clearance and extensive DoD policy experience.

You will craft and staff national and DoW policy on classification management and programme protection, perform critical security reviews, and coordinate across DCSA, Joint Staff, Research and Engineering

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 10+ years knowledge of national and DoW information security policies.
• 5 years developing policy at DoD Directive/Instruction level.
• 4 years as a staff action officer at OSD, JCS or Military Department HQ level.
• Experience with classification management, Programme Protection Plans and SCRM.

Responsibilities

• Develop and staff national and DoW policy on classification management and programme protection.
• Conduct critical security reviews.
• Assess Programme Protection Plans and coordinate across DCSA, Joint Staff, Research and Engineering and the IC to integrate DoW programme protection and SCRM policies.

Do you have 10+ years working DoD information security policy - and have you spent meaningful time working on classification management or programme protection specifically?

This is a senior role that sits at the heart of how the Department of War governs its most sensitive programmes and classified information.

An award winning, fast growing DC based contractor is looking for a Classification and Programme Protection Security SME to support the Office of the Under Secretary of War at the Pentagon.

You'd be developing and staffing national and DoW policy on classification management and programme protection, conducting critical security reviews, assessing Programme Protection Plans and coordinating across DCSA, Joint Staff, Research and Engineering and the Intelligence Community to ensure DoW programme protection and SCRM policies are properly integrated.

What you need:

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• 10 years demonstrated knowledge of national and DoW information security policies
• 5 years developing policy at DoD Directive/Instruction level
• 4 years as a staff action officer at OSD, JCS or Military Department HQ level
• Experience with classification management, Programme Protection Plans and SCRM
