Job summary

Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Policy Analyst with an active public trust clearance to assist a client in the Northern VA area. The role involves providing acquisition policy guidance, conducting policy analysis, and developing SOPs, with responsibilities spanning research, data synthesis, and preparing policy products for leadership.

The ideal candidate will be a US citizen with 6–8 years of federal procurement experience, strong FAR knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related major.
  • 6-8 years of progressively responsible experience supporting Federal Government procurement and acquisition activities.
  • Thorough knowledge of FAR, agency acquisition regulations, source selection procedures, contract administration, and procurement lifecycle management.
  • Experience supporting complex acquisitions, contract administration, market research, cost analysis, and procurement documentation development.
  • Proficiency in the use of standard office software and applications (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills.
  • FAC-C certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide acquisition policy guidance and interpretation of the FAR, HSAM, and other applicable regulations.
  • Analyze policy issues and develop recommendations to support organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Draft, update, and maintain policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct research, policy analysis, and impact assessments to inform decision-making and process improvements.
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to support policy development and evaluation.
  • Prepare policy briefs, memoranda, reports, and other policy products for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support responses to GAO, OIG, and other oversight inquiries, audits, and reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to improve acquisition processes, strengthen internal controls, and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Develop policy positions and recommendations on Congressional, Federal, Agency, and Department-level issues.

Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Policy Analyst with an active public trust clearance to assist a client in the Northern VA area. Note this position is contingent upon contract award.

The primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

Anticipated salary range is $75,000 - $85,000. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, clearance level, and relevant education, training and certifications.
