Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Pneumatic Engineer for a permanent role in New Jersey. You will design, develop, and implement pneumatic systems, leveraging CAD and SolidWorks to create assemblies and BOMs, while collaborating with semiconductor teams to optimize performance.

The position requires 5+ years in mechanical design, proficiency in SolidWorks, Zuken E3, SAP, ECTR, and Semispec, and a strong grasp of fluid dynamics, gas flow, and pressure control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in mechanical design, manufacturing preferred.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, Zuken E3, SAP, ECTR, and CAD software.
• Extensive knowledge of pneumatic systems, fluid dynamics, gas flow, and pressure control.
• Familiarity with semiconductor technology and Semispec.
• Strong ability to create assembly drawings and BOMs.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop pneumatic systems by studying requirements and testing methods.
• Assure system and product quality with testing.
• Prepare product reports by analyzing information and trends.
• Maintain product reputation by complying with regulations.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs to keep equipment operational.
• Maintain system/database by writing programs and entering data.
• Train technicians and complete projects.
• Develop drawings and BOMs using CAD/SolidWorks.
• Monitor gas flow and pressure in pneumatic systems.
• Collaborate with semiconductor team for optimal performance.
