Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, fast-paced design projects in mission-critical data center facilities. The role emphasizes collaboration with clients, consultants, engineers, architects, and leadership to deliver resilient, integrated solutions across the full project lifecycle.

You'll oversee planning, budgeting, and scheduling, ensure adherence to owner protocols, and mentor team members. Occasional US travel is required as projects span nationwide.

• Experience leading design projects for data center facilities.
• Strong communication and client coordination skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, forecasting, and organization of multidisciplinary project teams.
• Manage design of mission-critical data center facilities for reliability.
• Ensure projects follow Page and Owner protocols and procedures.
• Identify and resolve design and construction challenges quickly.
• Maintain primary client contact and relationships throughout the project.
• Coordinate with consultants, internal teams, contractors, and client reps.
• Mentor project team members to support growth and success.
• Contribute to fee development, proposals, and scope definition.
• Monitor budgets, codes, approvals, and regulatory processes.
• Oversee project documentation and financial tracking.
• Champion quality control across project phases.
• Represent the firm in meetings, presentations, public settings.
• Travel occasionally within the United States for site visits and coordination.
