Job summary

Walbridge in the United States is seeking a Project Manager to lead large-scale equipment installations across automotive manufacturing facilities, primary metals and industrial processing sites. You will direct self-perform projects from scope to close-out and manage multi-million dollar budgets.

The role requires 70%+ travel, strong leadership of cross-functional teams, and a focus on safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

7+ years manufacturing process equipment installation experience.
3+ years of management experience specific to equipment installation.
Experience managing self-perform industrial projects ranging from at least $1MM.
Experience leading project teams from contract award to project close-out.

Responsibilities

Estimate and manage scope changes, scheduling, procurement, safety, and progress monitoring.
Track progress using metrics and adjust plans to meet evolving requirements.
Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Identify opportunities to optimize processes and improve outcomes through new technologies.
Oversee construction to ensure design, budget, and schedule compliance.
Lead crews and subcontractors, providing planning and logistics support.
Manage contract requirements, oversee changes, and approve project documentation.
Serve as primary contact for clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
