Job summary

Handshake is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Coding to own the roadmap for one of our frontier data modalities: coding. You will define the scope and surfaces, and partner with engineering, design, and operations to ship a coherent product in a high‑ambiguity space.

You’ll lead a cross‑functional squad, turn early signals into a repeatable offering, and drive the strategy, execution, and measurement that scales this data modality for our customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Software development experience at a tech company (FAANG+ preferred).
• Experience operating on a small, early‑stage team with ambiguity.
• 5+ years in product, partnering with engineering to ship.

Responsibilities

• Own the coding modality end‑to‑end: define strategy, roadmap, scope and surfaces.
• Lead customer discovery with AI labs and internal stakeholders to prioritize bets.
• Make hard tradeoffs, communicate plans to engineering, operations, and leadership.
• Lead a squad with engineering and design partners and collaborate with modality PMs.
• Define success metrics for the coding modality and track progress.
• Run pilots, gather feedback, and turn early wins into repeatable patterns.
