Job summary

Harnham is partnering with a global private equity firm to lead AI-powered product initiatives across investment and operations. The Technical Product Manager will identify opportunities, articulate requirements, and guide prototypes through to production, balancing business value with technical feasibility.

You will work closely with engineers, investment professionals, and operating teams, shaping a data‑driven platform that strengthens AI workflows and accelerates adoption across portfolio

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in technical product management or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of data platforms and data architecture.
• Ability to engage with engineers, assess feasibility, and make informed product decisions.
• Familiarity with software development concepts and at least one programming language.
• Knowledge of practical AI use cases and potential business impact.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with hypothesis testing.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize opportunities to apply AI, data, and automation across investment and business operations.
• Partner with deal teams, operating professionals, and business leaders to understand workflows, define problems, and establish measurable outcomes.
• Translate business needs into clear product requirements, testable hypotheses, and actionable delivery priorities.
• Collaborate with engineers to evaluate data architecture, system dependencies, technical tradeoffs, and implementation approaches.
• Develop prototypes and proof‑of‑concept projects into reliable, production‑ready products.
• Consolidate existing AI use cases into a cohesive enablement platform for broader adoption.
• Advance the data foundations needed to support agentic AI systems and connected workflows.
• Evaluate ideas from internal hackathons to determine business value and development potential.
• Establish measures of product adoption, operational improvement, and business impact to guide investment.
• Support rollout and iteration, extending internal capabilities to portfolio companies.
