Job description

Senior PM – AI Creative & CTV at StackAdapt — Remote

Career Trajectory & Market Positioning: Senior PM roles in AdTech — especially at the intersection of generative AI, CTV, and programmatic advertising — are among the most in-demand and well-compensated in the product management market. StackAdapt's #1 DSP ranking and rapid growth signal a high-visibility environment where your work ships to real advertisers at scale. This is a strong resume builder.

Skills You'll Develop:

  • 0→1 product development in a genuinely greenfield AI/generative content space — a rare and highly transferable skill.
  • Deep fluency in AI/ML product decisions, generative video, and CTV ad formats — all fast-growing, high-demand domains.
  • Cross-functional leadership across Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Revenue — essential for VP/Director-level progression.
  • AdTech platform integrations and multi-channel creative workflows — niche expertise that commands premium compensation.

Compensation Signal: The posting lists "highly competitive salary" without specifics. Market benchmarks for Senior PM roles in AdTech/AI at well-funded Canadian/US tech companies typically fall in the $150K–$220K CAD / $130K–$190K USD range with equity and bonus. Push for clarity on total comp in your interview process.

Culture & Red/Green Flags:

  • Green: Multiple industry awards, inclusive DEI culture, real investment in learning and mental health.
  • Green: High autonomy — "influence over authority" leadership style suggests a mature, trust-based culture.
  • Watch: Fast-moving 0→1 environments can blur into scope creep; strong prioritization skills will be essential for sustainability.

StackAdapt is the leading technology company that empowers marketers to reach, engage, and convert audiences with precision. With 465 billion automated optimizations per second, the AI-powered StackAdapt Marketing Platform seamlessly connects brand and performance marketing to drive measurable results across the entire customer journey. The most forward-thinking marketers choose StackAdapt to orchestrate high-impact campaigns across programmatic advertising and marketing channels.

The Creatives team is on a mission to build a one-stop-shop for advertisers' creative production and management needs. We're developing a comprehensive in-house product that lets clients create, enhance, preview, store, and manage CTV, video, audio, DOOH, display, and native ads at scale — whether they start from ready-made templates or build from scratch. By delivering a robust, full-featured in-house solution, we reduce our clients' reliance on costly third-party creative providers and empower advertisers to move faster and more efficiently.

The next chapter for the team centers on AI-powered content generation and a multi-channel creative experience, with particular focus on AI-first video and CTV solutions. It's a high-impact, fast-moving area with significant room to define the product, the technology, and the creative workflows that will set the standard for how advertisers build at scale.

As a Senior Product Manager on the Creatives team, you'll own a portfolio at the heart of this ambition. This is a 0→1 space that spans multiple teams and disciplines, and you'll set the direction for it: shaping strategy, making the hard calls, and shipping. You'll partner closely with Engineering, Design, Creative Studio, Data Science, and Revenue to translate a bold vision into products advertisers love.

StackAdapt is a remote-first company. This role is open to candidates in Canada and the United States.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and end-to-end delivery for a portfolio spanning the video/CTV creative builder, AI-generated and brand content products, and creative integrations with social and partner platforms.
  • Lead 0→1 initiatives from first principles — research and validate the problem, frame the opportunity, define the path forward, and drive it to launch and adoption.
  • Translate complex, cross-team problems into a clear vision and crisp, actionable requirements that give Engineering, Design, and QE unambiguous direction on how features should behave.
  • Partner with Data Science and Engineering to shape how AI/ML and generative content capabilities are applied across creative formats, making sound technical trade-offs along the way.
  • Define key success metrics, monitor KPIs, and make data-informed decisions about what to build, what to cut, and what to double down on.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Creative Studio to ensure the tooling reflects real creative workflows and produces work that meets a high creative and brand bar.
  • Build new integrations with external platforms, partnering across teams to open up a wider range of creative assets and ad formats within the creative library.
  • Communicate precisely and proactively across the organization, keeping stakeholders aligned and informed at the right level and the right time.
  • Support customer-facing teams by resolving questions about your portfolio and helping triage bugs and regressions as they appear.
What You'll Bring to the Table
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager at a technology company, with a track record of shipping large, complex software products end-to-end.
  • Demonstrated success leading 0→1 initiatives that span multiple teams — you bring structure and direction to new problem spaces and rally others around a clear plan.
  • Experience building products in AdTech, MarTech, or creative platforms, with a meaningful edge for those who've worked on creative-building or generative AI products.
  • Strong fluency with AI/ML and generative AI concepts — enough to partner deeply with Data Science and Engineering, reason about capabilities and limitations, and make informed product decisions.
  • A technical background (Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience) that lets you discuss technical trade-offs, integrations, and architecture credibly with engineers.
  • A keen design and creative sense, balanced with technical depth — you pair an eye for what "great" looks like with the ability to partner closely with engineering on how to build it.
  • An excellent cross-functional collaborator who can tailor your approach across Engineering, Design, Creative Studio, Data Science, and Revenue without skipping a beat.
  • Clear, structured writing and communication — you distill complex ideas into words that build consensus and align stakeholders around your vision.
  • Strong prioritization instincts grounded in reason, clarity, and purpose — you focus the team on the most impactful work and the KPIs you're moving.
  • A leadership style rooted in influence rather than formal authority, and the judgment to operate independently in a fast-moving, evolving space.
  • Highly competitive salary
  • Retirement / 401K / Pension Savings globally
  • Competitive paid time off packages including birthdays off!
  • Access to a comprehensive mental health care program
  • Health benefits from day one of employment
  • Work from home reimbursements
  • Optional global WeWork membership for those who want a change from their home office, and hubs in London and Toronto
  • Robust training and onboarding program
  • Coverage and support of personal development initiatives (conferences, courses, books, etc.)
  • Access to StackAdapt programmatic courses and certifications to support continuous learning
  • An awesome parental leave program
  • A friendly, welcoming, and supportive culture
  • Social and team events!
