Job summary

Jafco Plumbing and Sewer, part of TurnPoint Services, is hiring a customer‑focused Plumbing Service Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain residential and light commercial systems in the Seattle area.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of service experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. You’ll work with modern tools, follow code standards, and contribute to a safety‑conscious, growth‑minded team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of plumbing service experience (residential or light commercial).
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Plumbing apprentice or journeyman license (as required by local jurisdiction).
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in confined spaces, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, broken pipes, and fixture malfunctions.
• Install and replace faucets, toilets, water heaters, garbage disposals, and other plumbing fixtures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on water, sewer, and drain systems.
• Troubleshoot system failures and recommend repair or replacement options.
• Accurately document work performed, parts used, and labor hours.
• Provide professional communication and clear explanations to customers about repair findings and solutions.
• Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and job site.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and supervisors to ensure timely service delivery.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency plumbing service.
