Job summary

LimRic Plumbing, Heating & Air is seeking a Technician Plumbing Install Lead to direct installation projects, read blueprints, and ensure code compliance. The role requires 5+ years in plumbing installation with at least 2 years in a lead position, residential and light commercial experience, and a valid license as required by local jurisdiction.

You will train apprentices, coordinate with project managers and inspectors, and maintain safe, organized job sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years plumbing installation experience, including 2+ years in lead/foreman role.
• Knowledge of residential and light commercial plumbing systems.
• Understanding of plumbing codes, layouts, and installation best practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Journeyman or Master Plumbing License as required by local jurisdiction.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to train and mentor team members.
• Must lift up to 100 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee plumbing installation projects from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and code compliance.
• Install, assemble, and test water supply, drainage, gas, and vent systems.
• Perform rough-in and finish plumbing for new construction, remodels, and replacements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and job scopes to plan and execute work.
• Direct and mentor apprentices and install helpers to ensure proper training and adherence to company standards.
• Conduct quality checks and pressure tests to confirm system integrity and functionality.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and other trades to coordinate job progress.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites at all times.
• Document completed work, materials used, and system specifications accurately.
• Ensure all safety, environmental, and company procedures are followed on every job site.
