Job summary

Cushing Terrell seeks an experienced Plumbing Mechanical Engineer to join our Billings team in Montana. This senior role focuses on designing and delivering plumbing and HVAC systems for complex built environment projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary group of engineers and drafters.

Qualified candidates will have 7+ years of consulting plumbing/HVAC experience, a ME degree, and preferably a Montana PE license or ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of consulting plumbing and HVAC engineering experience in built environments.
• Preferred PE licensure in Montana or ability to obtain licensure.
• Proven ability to design complex plumbing systems (domestic water, waste, vent) and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop plumbing and mechanical HVAC design concepts independently or with the A/E team.
• Consult with clients to define project needs, goals, and budget and translate into engineered systems.
• Conduct site assessments and evaluations to produce engineering reports and recommendations.
