Your new company
Join a boutique 20+ year old, 30-person Engineering Firm as a Senior Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer. This role will be remote based, with ad-hoc travel to meet with a long-term Healthcare client in the Bronx NYC (roughly once a week or bi-weekly) and monthly travel to Connecticut to work in office at the MEP Firm itself. Base salary circa $115k to $130k dependent on skills & experience.

Your new role
As a Senior Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer you will work closely with end clients & Architects designing complex Plumbing & Fire Protection systems. The majority of their projects are performed in Revit, with some smaller projects completed in CAD. As a senior team member you will work in a highly autonomous role, while ensuring you follow internal operational excellence guidelines & design practices. You will perform a blend of hands-on design & project management related duties, no seller/doer experience is required, though would be considered advantageous. Oversight of junior team members & mentoring is expected.
What you'll need to succeed
Your experience working long-term within MEP Engineering Firms as a Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer will be key to your success in this role. Experience supporting new building design, responsibility for equipment sizing & selection, expertise with Zoning for high-rise buildings, as well as adhering to NFPA guidelines is also a must to be considered. A PE License is advantageous but not mandatory to be considered for this role.
