As a Plumbing / Fire Protection Engineer at AE Works, you will be responsible for working with our multi-discipline design teams on designing plumbing and fire protection systems for building projects. Arlington, VA or Pittsburgh, PA Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution :

Perform design and drawings of plumbing and fire protection systems for building projects, both new construction and renovation, within various market segments. Develop drawings and specifications at each project submission. Leadership & Team Development :

Participate in meetings, internally and externally, to collaborate with other team members and clients. Team Collaboration :

Coordinate drawing sets with the project team, including in-house architects, engineers, and interior designers as well as subconsultants. Client Collaboration :

Travel with team members for onsite collaboration and investigations. Qualifications Experience :

10+ years relevant design experience in the building industry. Project experience in healthcare, laboratories, higher education, and government facilities preferred. Attributes :

Exceptional communication and listening skills. Strong leadership and mentorship experience leading plumbing engineering and design projects. Technical Skills :

Proficient in Revit. High proficiency in using cloud-based and mobile technology for collaboration. Education :

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Certification :

Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) credential preferred.
