Arup in Chicago is seeking a Senior Plumbing Engineer to lead design of plumbing and fire protection for diverse buildings. You will create SD/DD drawings in Revit, perform code analyses, specify equipment, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality designs.
The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering and 8+ years of plumbing/fire-protection experience; PE or ASPE CPD is preferred, with strong communication and mentoring skills and a focus on sustainable design.

We are currently seeking a Senior Plumbing Engineer to join us in our Chicago Office, to work on design plumbing and fire protection systems including domestic cold-water systems, domestic hot water systems, specialty water systems, sanitary drainage and vent systems, storm drainage systems, natural gas distribution systems, laboratory gas systems, grease waste systems, acid waste and vent systems, other specialty plumbing and fire suppression systems.
This role supports a broad range of building types, with opportunities to contribute to technically complex and mission-critical facilities.

The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Chicago is $102,000 - $125,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Chicago will differ.
