Job summary

Henderson Engineers in Missouri is seeking a mid to experienced Plumbing Designer to contribute to our six market sectors, including Business, Community, Grocery & Distribution, Health, Retail, and Venue. You will work with our sister company Henderson Building Solutions to deliver a unique client experience.

Responsibilities include performing calculations, designing plumbing systems, reviewing shop drawings, and supporting business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of engineering (mechanical/electrical/fire protection or architectural) is preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license may count toward experience.
• 6+ years of relevant experience or 3+ years with a degree are considered for mid-level to senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Performs calculations and designs engineering systems with independence.
• Prepares electrical system layouts, drawings, and schematics.
• Reviews shop drawings for conformance to plans and specs.
• Supports business development and client relationship building.
• Coordinates project scope, schedule, and delivery with the team.
• Actively learns industry software like Revit and Bluebeam Revu.
