This is a hybrid position. The incumbent is required to live within commuting distance of our Washington, DC office, and will normally work from home 3-4 days a week, and work in our office, or at a client site, 1-2 days a week.

What You Will be Doing:
As a Senior Plumbing Design Engineer at Interface, you will be taking ownership as a discipline leader on multiple projects. Your duties will include (but may not be limited to):

• Responsibility for plumbing system selection, engineering & design
• Preparation of Plumbing drawings, sketches, analysis, specifications, and calculations
• Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Providing management and oversight of plumbing support staff
• Providing construction administration & site observations related to your projects.
• Delivering exemplary service and support to team members and clients.

To Qualify for Application:

The successful Senior Plumbing Engineer/Designer candidate should have:

• BSME
• PE or CPD or equivalent experience
• Active Professional Engineering License
• 10+ years’ experience in MEP design/consulting
• Working knowledge of IPC/UPC and IBC standards
• Commuting distance to Washington, DC
