Job summary

EMCOR Group seeks an experienced Plumber/Pipefitter for heavy mechanical and industrial piping on pump stations and related facilities. Minimum 5 years hands-on work on large mechanical projects is required. You will read blueprints and install piping, coordinate with supervisors, and maintain safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a plumber or pipefitter on heavy mechanical or industrial projects.
• Proven experience on pump stations or similar facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems for pump stations and heavy mechanical applications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings.
• Measure, cut, thread, weld, braze, and fit pipe in various materials.
• Set and connect pumps, valves, fittings, supports, and related equipment.
• Ensure piping systems meet job specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Perform pressure testing, inspections, and troubleshooting as needed.
