Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced and licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join our team in Pennsylvania. The role focuses on managing surveying projects, ensuring technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and high-quality deliverables.

You will lead ALTA/NSPS, boundary, topo, and construction surveys, support land development and DOT projects, and mentor junior staff. Proficiency with Civil 3D and field equipment is required, with strong client relations and project management

Qualifications

• Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Pennsylvania.
• 10 years of professional surveying experience (flexible for strong candidates).

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction layout activities.
• Conduct boundary analysis, prepare legal descriptions, and provide quality control oversight under Pennsylvania Professional Land Surveyor licensure.
• Support land development and Department of Transportation (DOT) projects from planning through execution.
• Develop grading plans and minor stormwater management designs for land development projects.
• Review project deliverables for technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Utilize Civil 3D and standard survey field equipment to support project execution and documentation.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
• Foster client relationships and identify opportunities to expand services and generate new business.
