Ford in Dearborn, MI seeks a PLM Engineering Manager to lead 3DEXPERIENCE customization and high-level escalation support. You will mentor 3DX developers, platform engineers, and release specialists, aligning engineering with business goals and Dassault Systèmes collaboration.

You will shape engineering standards, drive automation, and own incident management across the 3DX stack, including 3DSpace, 3DPassport, and 3DDashboard.

Competenze

• 8+ years with Dassault Systèmes ENOVIA / 3DEXPERIENCE, including platform customization, development, and administration.
• 5+ years in software development, software engineering, and scripting with 3DX customizations including EKL, JPO, JAR, YAML, and supporting automation/pipelines.
• 3+ years in a Level 3, escalation, or production support role for enterprise PLM systems
• 3+ years leading or managing technical teams in an enterprise environment
• Proven experience managing vendor support escalations with Dassault Systèmes or comparable enterprise software vendors
• Experience working in a fast-paced, flexible industrial systems team like Ford Motor Company
• Expert-level experience using large language models and artificial intelligence
• Experience with 3DX customization technologies (EKL/JPO/TCL) and security (P&O)

Mansioni

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of all 3DX customizations and data model extensions.
• Guide UI development of 3DDashboard widgets, web forms, and tables.
• Own integrations between 3DX and Ford enterprise systems via REST APIs and middleware.
• Oversee P&O security configuration across platforms.
• Define and enforce coding standards, code reviews, and source control for 3DX.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and advise on customization decisions.
• Serve as final escalation point for critical incidents across 3DX suites.
• Lead root-cause analysis using logs, JVM dumps, and DB queries.
• Drive vendor escalation with Dassault Systèmes and ensure testable hotfixes.
• Lead incident bridges during outages and communicate with stakeholders.
• Drive problem management and permanent corrective actions.
• Create knowledge articles and runbooks to enable L1/L2 support.
• Oversee platform performance tuning, upgrade readiness, and automation.
• Lead capacity planning and team development.
