Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Principal Software Engineer – PLM & Digital Engineering to architect and deploy Teamcenter PLM extended solutions, collaborating with Product and Systems Engineering and offshore resources. You will lead technical capability evaluation and onboard integrated solutions across on-premises and cloud-hosted environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in PLM systems with Siemens Teamcenter architecture.
• Knowledge of Syndeia or MBSE tools like Cameo is a plus.
• Proven track record in architecting, implementing and managing large-scale Teamcenter PLM projects.
• Deep knowledge of Teamcenter architecture: Active Workspace, Access Manager, Workflow designer, BOM, Classification, Change Management, etc.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills for stakeholder interaction.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of global PLM (Teamcenter) and Digital Thread deployments, coordinating with strategic business groups and engineering teams.
• Deploy scalable MBSE system tools and Syndeia-enabled solutions; document architectures for platform and development teams.
• Execute all phases of Teamcenter PLM projects: requirements gathering, design, development, testing and deployment.
• Stay updated on Teamcenter advancements and recommend innovative solutions.
• Ensure alignment with security and data privacy policies; support CAD/ERP integrations (e.g., SAP).
• Architect solutions for complex PLM integrations including BOM management and Change Management.
• Optimize Teamcenter environments for performance and usability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value-driven solutions.
