Job summary
Acuity Inc. is seeking a Lead Sales Engineer - PLC Control Systems who translates complex data center and industrial automation needs into scalable AIS solutions.
You will lead technical discovery, solution architecture, demonstrations, and proposal development, working from pre-sales to implementation with a focus on PLC and control systems across data center and industrial environments. The role requires strong PLC/controls expertise, commercial judgment, and ability to build repeatable
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in technical sales engineering or related roles.
- Ability to translate requirements into solution architecture and proposals.
- Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA, DDC, BMS or related systems.
- Experience with IEC 61131-3 programming concepts and PLC environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery workshops and develop technical win strategies.
- Create solution narratives, scopes, BOMs, and handoff criteria.
- Deliver demonstrations, PoCs, and customer training.
- Architect scalable AIS solutions integrating PLC, SCADA, DDC, and enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and delivery teams for opportunities.
