Job summary

DFA is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to install, monitor, and repair PLC devices and related equipment in a manufacturing setting. You will work with PLCs, HMIs, and instrumentation to keep systems operating at peak efficiency.

Qualifications include 4–6 years of industrial maintenance, a high school diploma, and a preferred trade/technical background. A state electrician license and CMMS familiarity are advantageous for success.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of industrial maintenance electrical, PLC experience.
• Prefer manufacturing environment experience.
• State electrician license or similar certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust control systems including PLCs and HMIs.
• Repair power and motor control systems and frequency drives.
• Diagnose downtime issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain engineering documentation and CMMS records.
• Provide technical support and mentor junior technicians.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and sanitation requirements.
