Job summary

Celersoft LLC seeks an experienced Senior PLC Engineer to lead PLC programming, industrial automation, controls integration, troubleshooting, and commissioning at customer/manufacturing sites. The role requires hands-on experience developing and commissioning PLC-based control systems and strong communication and leadership, with travel to client sites expected.

The ideal candidate will work directly with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure safety,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, Automation or related field.
5+ years of PLC/Controls Engineering experience.
Strong PLC programming and industrial automation experience.
Experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens or comparable PLC platforms.
Ability to read electrical schematics and interpret control diagrams.
Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC control programs.
Lead PLC programming and controls engineering activities for automation projects.
Develop and integrate PLC, HMI, VFD, motion control, safety, and other automation systems.
Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication networks and protocols.
Develop machine sequences, interlocks, alarms, and control logic.
Review electrical schematics with electrical and mechanical teams.
Perform system integration, testing, commissioning, and startup.
Diagnose and resolve complex controls issues; onsite support.
Provide technical leadership to junior engineers and technicians.
