Job summary

Valeo seeks a Process/Manufacturing Engineering Manager/Director to lead the site’s industrial technologies and process expertise. You will coordinate interfaces across the site and with the Process Expertise Center, guiding industrial teams and the overall site industrial plan to deliver on the Master Plan.

You should have a Bachelor's in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics and 4+ years of PLC programming experience in high-speed environments, with hands-on experience in Allen-Bradley, Fanuc,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering.
• 4+ years of PLC programming experience in high-speed industrial environments.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and robotics from Fanuc, ABB, or KUKA.
• Knowledge of VFDs and vision systems (Keyence or Cognex) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrial technologies and coordinate the process expertise across the site.
• Manage production and industrialization teams and the site industrial plan.
• Drive standardization programs for product and process across the perimeter.
• Participate in technical committees and oversee industrialization projects.
• Define Budgets and Master Site Industrial Performance targets.

What You Will Do

Responsible for industrial technologies of its perimeter Manage and animates the Process Expertise of its perimeter Coordinates the interfaces between its site, PG/PL/RO/platform and the Process Expertise Center Manage the industrial teams in its perimeter (plant, production and industrialization) Manage the industrial plan of the site in line with the MTP, within its perimeter Coordinate and push standardization program project for product and process of its perimeter Participate to Technical Committee and validate process ECR Manage and validate industrialization projects, with experts support Define the program allocation during CAA and IAR process Participate in the IVC, PMC & PSC and Red Project Review, sourcing committee, … Apply the rules for equipment and tools standardization coming from PG Define programs and Budget Target Master Site Industrial Performance and deliveries, DL, Quality and Asset Utilization. Support daughter sites during ramp up and processes issues

What You Should Have

You have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineer (or other relevant Engineering discipline) You have 4+ years of PLC programming experience, preferably using Allen-Brandley, of Fanuc, ABB, or Kuka robotic systems You have experience programming PLCs in a high-speed industrial environment You preferably have experience using Variable Frequency Drivers (VFDs) and Vision Systems (Keyence or Cognex)
