Job summary

Mphasis is seeking an experienced Test Automation Lead in Berkeley Heights, NJ. You will design and implement automated testing across UI, API, and backend services and mentor automation engineers.

You will drive modular frameworks with Playwright, TypeScript, Cucumber, RestAssured/RestSharp, Appium, and enterprise-aligned practices while leveraging AI-assisted tools to boost productivity and code quality. This is a fast-paced Agile environment with leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing and implementing automated testing solutions across UI, API, middle-tier and backend services.
• Strong expertise with Playwright, TypeScript, Cucumber and API automation.
• Solid understanding of .NET Core/.NET Framework architectures for automation.
• Experience debugging AI-generated code to ensure quality, maintainability and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, TS, Cucumber, API automation (RestAssured/RestSharp), Appium.
• Architect modular, reusable automation components aligned with enterprise standards.
• Develop API automation with auth, validation, and schema checks, integrated with UI tests.
• Lead automation initiatives and perform code reviews for automation engineers.
• Promote best practices and drive continuous quality engineering across Agile teams.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Explore AI-assisted workflows and ensure security and quality in generated code.
