Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer to join the Secure Network Engineering team. You will own moderately complex components within platform services and contribute to design, development, and integration of Zero Trust Network Services and PKI solutions.

You will debug across distributed services, analyze performance and error budgets, and help drive reliability, security, and operational efficiency.

Job Summary

About the Team & Organization

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer to join the Secure Network Engineering team, focusing on the design, development, and integration of Zero Trust Network Services and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions.

In this role, you will help build and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure services that support OCI's distributed, multi-tenant environment. You will work on network security technologies, including network routing, firewalls, key-based authentication, and cloud service-level authorization, to strengthen infrastructure security and reduce exposure to cybersecurity threats.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to develop backend services, contribute to system design and architecture, review code, and explore emerging technologies that improve security, reliability, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has strong software development skills, a solid understanding of networking protocols and Linux environments, and experience with cloud computing and Zero Trust security principles.
