Job summary

Acquire Me is seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer to help build the core software infrastructure for a high-performance computing environment. The role focuses on near-OS design, reliability, scalability and low-latency optimisations for production systems.

You will design and optimise platform software, work on Linux-based systems, and collaborate with OS, networking and infrastructure teams to remove bottlenecks and push performance limits.

Qualifications

This role sits at the heart of the platform team, developing and optimising the systems that power large scale, latency sensitive production infrastructure. You'll work close to the operating system, designing software where reliability, scalability and performance are critical, and where every optimisation has measurable impact.

Requirements

Academic Background

Candidates should have an exceptional academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a closely related discipline. Strong foundations in operating systems, distributed systems, algorithms, computer architecture and performance engineering are highly valued.
