Job summary

Avathon, Inc. in Pleasanton, CA, is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the Avathon platform, including data ingestion, ontology, the Computational Knowledge Graph, the Model Hub for ML/LLM models, and the agent layer.

You will shape a product roadmap with clear priorities for connectors, ontology, models, and agents to enable applications with less custom work. This is a product management role in Product Engineering, not a customer delivery role, requiring deep collaboration with platform

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management with focus on data, ML, developer or platform products.
• Experience with data integration, data modeling, ontologies and ML/LLM operations.
• Exposure to industrial data (OT systems, historians, SCADA, ERP).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; MS or MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, roadmap and priorities for ingestion and connectors, ontology and knowledge graph, Model Hub and the agent layer.
• Define platform contracts that Planning, Logistics, PLM, asset performance and vision applications build on.
• Write clear requirements and acceptance criteria for platform engineering and AI science.
• Run sprint planning and release reviews with the engineering lead.
• Create developer documentation, release notes and enablement for internal teams and partners.
