Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Patch & Repave Platform to lead the design and delivery of an enterprise solution enabling automated patching and container/VM repaving. You will guide a high-performing team, align with product strategy, ensure security, and drive immutable infrastructure practices across a complex environment.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years in software/platform engineering with 8+ years leading engineering teams.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale platforms (internal developer platforms, infra automation).
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD, release engineering, and automated quality gates.
• Familiar with immutable infrastructure concepts and platform lifecycle automation.
• Hands-on familiarity with modern infrastructure ecosystems: Containers/Kubernetes and VM platforms.
• Skills across React/Angular, Java, MongoDB/Redis.
• Experience with IaC and configuration management.
• Observability and operational tooling knowledge.
• Strong collaboration across Security, SRE, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Builds and manages teams with workforce strategy, objectives, and training.
• Facilitates performance reviews and development plans for employees/teams.
• Manages production delivery, app health, security, data standards, and audits.
• Leads relationships with business and technology partners and Communities of Practice.
• Contributes to the technology strategy for their domain.
