Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer/Architect for the NeMo Platform Core team. You will lead the design of a plugin-based AI platform that runs agents across local/docker, Kubernetes, Slurm, and on-prem environments.

You will own APIs, drive reliability, and mentor engineers in a fast-paced product research setting. Expect to design scalable systems, contribute to OSS, and collaborate with multiple orgs to optimize agent execution, with a focus on performance, security, and

Qualifications

BS, MS, or equivalent in CS/CE or related field.
10+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems.
Comfort in fast, ambiguous environments.
Strong written and verbal communication for architectural RFCs and cross-team discussions.
Strong system design with emphasis on reliability, scalability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities

Lead design reviews, code reviews, mentoring, and ownership of cross-component problems.
Design and maintain Core Platform APIs for jobs, data, entities, secrets, RBAC, and auth.
Extend plugin architecture to enable external teams to add capabilities.
Develop and ship open source components with high quality standards.
Improve reliability, observability, and performance across NeMo Platform and SDKs.
Build strong test coverage for unit, integration, E2E, Docker, and Kubernetes workflows.
